Jesus Sets His Face Toward Jerusalem

“When the days drew near for Him to be taken up, He set his face to go to Jerusalem.” Luke 9.51
As we begin this week, our reflections are based on the Sermon preached on Sunday. We begin today with a short reflection for you to consider…
Jesus’ journey to Jerusalem is no ordinary trip. He knows the cross awaits Him, yet He moves forward with unwavering resolve.
This is the heart of discipleship: following a Savior who is fully committed to our salvation, no matter the cost. Like Jesus, we are called to set our faces toward God’s purpose for us, trusting in His strength.
PRAYER: Lord Jesus, You set Your face toward the cross for my sake. Help me to follow You with the same determination, trusting Your grace to guide me through every challenge. Fix my eyes on You, the author and perfecter of my faith. Amen.
